Jaclyn E. DuBois-Zolnik is the founder of A Better Way Mentor. She has over 25 years working with small business owners, particularly law firms, supporting more than 20 lawyers. At each firm she has implemented systems for efficiency, customer service and training of staff.  She consistently seeks a better way to conduct the business processes by challenging the way things are being done "because they have been done that way."  It is her core belief that when you are doing things you enjoy you are not working. On the difficult days when a team member is struggling or facing fears those are times when we both grow. When we commit to our goals, re-evaluate where necessary and make a plan together; we see these as opportunities not obstacles.
 

We have learned that when people are refusing to take action there is often fear behind those decisions. Intentional strategic planning while reviewing various options allows for most people to move beyond their fears because they feel empowered. 

When you look at the scenarios and view the way the causes and affects interact decisions are made from logic rather than emotion. These are skills we will bring to our mentees.

Change is exciting and improvement is motivating. We are able to focus on the big picture while getting into the details.
